Offset printing
Offset printing is a commonly used printing technique where the inked image is transferred (or "offset") from a plate to a rubber blanket, then to the printing surface. When used in combination with the lithographic process, which is based on the repulsion of oil and water, the offset technique employs a flat (planographic) image carrier on which the image to be printed obtains ink from ink rollers, while the non-printing area attracts a water-based film (called "fountain solution"), keeping the non-printing areas ink-free.
Varnishing
Varnish is a transparent, hard, protective finish or film primarily used in wood finishing but also for other materials. Varnish is traditionally a combination of a drying oil, a resin, and a thinner or solvent. Varnish finishes are usually glossy but may be designed to produce satin or semi-gloss sheens by the addition of "flatting" agents. Varnish has little or no color, is transparent, and has no added pigment, as opposed to paints or wood stains, which contain pigment and generally range from opaque to translucent. Varnishes are also applied over wood stains as a final step to achieve a film for gloss and protection. Some products are marketed as a combined stain and varnish.
Die Punching
A die is a specialized tool used in manufacturing industries to cut, shape and form a wide variety of products and components. Like molds and templates, dies are generally customized and uniquely matched to the product they are used to create. Products made with dies range from simple paper clips to complex pieces used in advanced technology.

1. Automatic Die Punching and Creasing.
2. Automatic Die Punching and Creasing and Stripping.
3. Manual Die Punching and Creasing.
4. Automatic Folding and Gluing.
Window Lamination & Lamination
A laminate is a material constructed by uniting two or more layers of material together. The process of creating a laminate is lamination, which in common parlance refers to the placing of something between layers of plastic and sealing them with heat and/or pressure, usually with an adhesive. However, in electrical engineering, lamination is a construction technique used to reduce unwanted heating effects due to eddy currents in components, such as the magnetic cores of transformers.
Quality Control Laboratory
Quality control is used in developing systems to ensure products or services are designed and produced to meet or exceed customer requirements. Quality control is the branch of engineering and manufacturing which deals with assurance and failure testing in design and production of products or services.

Quality control department will sample the materials as per the written procedures and approve or reject the material, after checking the test results with specification. If rejected the material is returned to the manufacturer/supplier with proper documents in immediate action. The Approved material is kept in the stores and labeled “APPROVED” with all the specifications. All the approved materials are identified by analytical report numbers and GRN nos. Only approved raw materials are issued to production following FIFO systems.
U.V Coating
Ultra-violet cured coatings can be applied over ink printed on paper and dried by exposure to UV radiation. UV coatings can be formulated up to 100% solids so that they have no volatile component that contributes to pollution. This high solids level also allows for the coating to be applied in very thin films. UV coatings can be formulated to a wide variety of gloss ranges. UV coating can be most conventional industrial coating applications as well as by silkscreen.

Due to the normally high solids content of UV coating/varnish the surface of the cured film can be extremely reflective and glossy. 80 text and heavier weights of paper can be UV coated, however, cover weights are preferred. UV can be used on smooth, uncoated papers.

UV can be applied on spot locations of the paper or by flooding the page. This coating application can deepen the color of the printed area. Drying is virtually instantaneous when exposed to the correct level of UV light so projects can move quickly into the bindery. Like the other coatings, consult the bindery for projects requiring gluing.

A printed page with UV coating applied can be very shiny or flattened to a matte finish. A good example of UV coated paper is photo paper sold for home printing projects. UV coatings that are not fully cured can have a slightly sticky feeling.
Folding Machine
A folding machine is a machine used for folding, usually of paper.A fold (in paper) can be made by a Buckle or a Knife. There are generally three types of folding machines. Buckle Folders, Knife Folders or a Combination of these two types
Procedure
Required board and inks which approved by QA are procured from the stores through Issue Voucher and print with the approved sample given by the Customer. Then the required coating or lamination is done on the surface of the Printed area so as to protect the image or text information. Then the punching of the printed sheets is done as per the dimensions and design given by the customer. The punched sheets are stripped and cartons are piled on the pallets which are sent for pasting, after pasting the cartons the final check is done, counted and bundled with white paper strap. Then the bundles are packed in the corrugated boxes and labeled as well as sealed.
